Sangay Jamtsho hails from Mongar and is a graduate of Sherubtse College, Kanglung, with a B.Com (Hons.). Commissioned from the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun in 2005, he served with the Royal Bhutan Police for 19 years, retiring at the rank of Major.
During his service, he gained extensive expertise in security and crisis management, completing advanced training in installation security and firefighting (NISA, Hyderabad), CCTV

management (Thailand), security operations (NSG, India), and disaster management (Bhutan). He also represented Bhutan in several international programs and visits.
Before joining BMML Pvt. Ltd., Sangay was the Officer Commanding at Pasakha Police Station, where he played a key role in ensuring safety and order in one of the country’s major industrial hubs. He now brings his leadership, discipline, and security expertise to support BMML’s growth and operations.
